Strong leadership ability: Sebastian has demonstrated strong leadership on the iOS team throughout the year. He consistently takes initiative that sets an example for others on the team. One example of this was his ability to lead the effort to organise TestFlight distribution of our Closed Beta. He was extremely patient and thorough in his ability to communicate tradeoffs and complexities that made it easy to make decision.

Cultural impact: I really appreciate Sebastian’s ability to take on ambiguous challenges with a great attitude. He always approaches problems from a “how might we” POV, versus a “why we shouldn’t” POV. I think overall this has been very healthy for the team, and even in trying times he inspires other people on the team to do great work.
